Clash of Clans has enlisted football legends Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Sergio Agüero in a new social media campaign calling out Erling Haaland for having his own character in the video game.
Recently, Haaland became the ‘Barbarian King’ character in the mobile game as part of a football-themed seasonal game event.

However, in the new social media campaign the legendary Brazilians and Argentine player have claimed the deal should have been theirs – as their characters would’ve been a better fit.
Ronaldo said: “I can’t believe they put Erling Haaland in Clash of Clans. I am Ronaldo the First! Nobody tears down defences like Ronaldo the First.”
Ronaldinho added: “I know they already have a wizard in Clash of Clans, but I create even better magic with a football at my feet.”
Meanwhile, Sergio Agüero continued: “Everything I do, he does it too, whether it’s breaking records or playing video games. And now he’s in a game? Give me a break!”
However, responding to the comments, Haaland commented: “These guys are all legends and I’d have them in my clan any day.”
According to the mobile game, Haaland’s partnership is the first time a character has been launched, based on a real person.
