Rovio has launched Rovio Accounts, a cross-app, cross-platform log-in system for its games that enables users to save progress and continue playing where they left off on another device.
As well as being a handy feature for app users, it might prove useful to Rovio as a way of linking together its various properties, which havent seen the same success as the Angry Birds franchise. 
To this end, its worth noting that the functionality is initially only available on a global basis in The Croods, its tie-in app to the film of the same name – though in Finland and Poland, its also available for the original Angry Birds.
