Rovio has launched Angry Birds Friends, the latest installment in the hugely successful franchise, for iOS and Android.
As the name suggests, the app puts a social twist on the Angry Birds formula, connecting with the users Facebook account to enable them to compare scores with their contacts. To that end, Friends introduces a daily rewards system, and virtual gifts which can be traded between users. 
Also promised are weekly tournaments, each coming with its own new level for the game.
