Creative agency Marvellous has created an iOS and Facebook app for the Royal Navy. The app, which sets the user a series of interactive challenges, is designed to help the Navy recruit undergraduates into weapon, marine, and air engineer officer roles. Royal Navy Engineer Officer Challenge is designed to engage and motivate potential recruits to start filling in an application for a career in the Navy.
Royal Navy lieutenant commander Lee Thorne says: “We need qualified, skilled and intuitive graduates, with an ability to think on their feet and solve problems quickly and creatively. The Royal Navy Engineer Office Challenge is an immersive and involving way for undergraduates to explore the challenges and rewards of career as an engineer officer in the Royal Navy.”
It is an update to a similar game, also developed by Marvellous, which launched in 2009. The new version replaces the old, and existing iOS users can update the app.

You can also access the game on Facebook.
