Photos and specs of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini have leaked onto the internet, substantiating rumours about the smaller handset less than two weeks after Samsung unveiled its full-size sibling, the Galaxy S4.
The devices existence doesnt come as much of a surprise, after the S3 Mini introduced a new branch to the ever more convoluted Galaxy family tree four months after the launch of the Galaxy S3.
The Galaxy S4 Mini is expected to launch around June or July, with a 4.3” display, and 1.6GHz dual-core processor. By comparison, the full-size S4 has a 5” screen and runs on a 1.9GHz quad-core, or 1.6GHz eight-core, processor depending on the region. Both devices run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean).
It appears that there will be four different versions of the device, according to a Samsung support page. One of these will feature dual SIMs, another will be an LTE version, and the final variation will be specially designed for China.
