Samsung Jumps to a Third of All EMEA Ad Impressions in Q2

Samsungs share of ad impressions in the EMEA region hit 31 per cent in Q2, 2013, according to Millennials Mobile Mix report, up from 18 per cent in Q1.
Globally, Apple was the top manufacturer, with 39.3 per cent of all impressions. All three of its device ranges appeared in the top four – the iPhone at 22.3 per cent, iPad at 9.4 per cent and iPod Touch at 7.6 per cent.
Samsung didnt fare too badly either, with a 26.1 per cent share of impressions, and the Galaxy S range taking the second spot for devices at 9.8 per cent. Seven of its devices appeared in the top 20 – six of which were Galaxy branded.
Interesingly, the third biggest manufacturer was BlackBerry, accounting for 6.8 per cent of all traffic – over half of which came from the BlackBerry Curve, the fifth most popular device overall.
