Samsung has unveiled two handsets in its Galaxy range of smartphones – the Samsung Galaxy Young, and Galaxy Fame.
Both devices run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), and are slightly behind those of the Galaxy S3 in terms of specs. Theres not too much differentiating the two handsets, with the Galaxy Fame boasting a slightly bigger screen – 3.5” compared to 3.27” – and NFC capabilities, but theyre otherwise more or less identical.
Its unclear exactly what gap theyre meant to fill in Samsungs roster of handsets – presumably, based on their specs, theyre intended to represent a cheaper option in the Galaxy range, but details of pricing havent yet been announced.
Both devices will be available in the UK from March 2013.
