Its been a big day for Android handset announcements. First Google unveiled its latest flagship device, the Moto X, and now Samsung has announced the Galaxy S4 Mini.
The device – a compact version of the Galaxy S4 – doesnt come as a great surprise. After all, a successor to the Galaxy S3 Mini seemed inevitable, and rumours of the announcement have been circling around the internet for weeks now.
The S4 Mini runs Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean), has a 4.3” display, a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, and 1.5GB of RAM. Those specs arent far behind the full-fat S4 (for comparison: 5” display, 1.6GHz quad-core, 2GB RAM).
The device doesnt currently have a release date or price.
