Today sees the launch of our new online destination for the mCommerce sector, Mobile Retail, a sister title to Mobile Marketing, at www.mobileretailmagazine.com.
As the name suggests, Mobile Retail is dedicated to the retail sector, which we feel warrants its own site. Online shopping is a fact of life for most people now, and we feel the same will be true of mobile shopping in the near future. Mobile Retail will offer retail executives a destination where they can find out all they need to know about mCommerce in one place.
In addition to news, the site will carry reviews of retailers’ mobile initiatives, from apps and mobile-optimised sites to in-store campaigns that harness the power of mobile. We’ll also be interviewing senior retailers about their approach to mobile: why they did what they did, and what they plan to do next. And we’ll be celebrating great work, with case studies showing how mobile can be successfully deployed in the retail channel.
If you have previously registered on Mobile Marketing, at any point up until the end of last year, you can log in to Mobile Retail using the same username and password. If you are not registered with Mobile Marketing, or have only recently registered, it only takes a couple of minutes to register on Mobile Retail, using the link in the top right of your screen.
When you register, you can sign up to receive our weekly e-newsletter which links back to the top stories published in the last seven days on Mobile Marketing. As Mobile Retail gathers momentum, we’ll put together a dedicated weekly e-zine for this site too.
