Second-Screening Steps into The Limelight

Cinema advertising company Screenvision has launched The Limelight, a reinvention of its pre-movie marketing platform which aims to embrace second-screening, with screenfanz. The iOS app – an Android version is to follow shortly – enables cinema-goers to access film info, share reviews via Facebook, and enter competitions for cinema tickets.

“Our new pre-show brings together the immersive power of advertising on the silver screen with rich mobile interactivity,” says Travis Reid, Screenvision CEO. “The Limelight will make movie-going more fun and involving for the audience, giving them a reason to arrive at the theater early and switch on their mobile devices. For advertisers, it will make marketing a much more creative, cost-effective and immediate impact proposition.”
