Mobile music discovery service Shazam has increased its music database from six to eight million tracks, following new major partnerships and direct sourcing activities. The new tracks include additional North American, Asian and European content. The extra two million tracks will be linked to Shazams other assets, taking users on a music journey from discovery to knowledge, with artist biographies and album reviews through to purchase of the music through affiliated partners.
