Shazam – the fourth most downloaded iOS app of all time, which identifies songs played into a devices microphone – has made its LyricPlay functionality available to everyone with an iOS or Android device. LyricPlay, which originally launched in June for customers of their Encore paid iOS App, presents lyrics in time with the music.
“No other app offers synchronised lyrics with animation like Shazam does, showing lyrics in a distinctive way as they slide and scroll across the screen giving a magical extended experience,” says Alex Musil, Shazam’s executive vice president of product.
