Earlier this week, Shell Oil Company announced that Shell locations across the U.S will now accept gas payments made through Uconnect Market, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ (FCA) new in-vehicle commerce platform. With Uconnect Market, customers will be able to use their in-vehicle touchscreens to find the nearest Shell station, receive directions and complete their gas purchase without using a physical card.

Additionally, participating Shell stations will be offering the Shell Pay & Save promotion, which gives Fuel Rewards of up to 10¢ per gallon on eligible vehicles using FCA’s Uconnect Market. The Uconnect Market platform with in-vehicle payments is only available in 2019 and 2020 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram Brand vehicles, upgraded with eligible connected services.  

Car owners with the Uconnect Market Platform can also complete other tasks from their in-vehicle touchscreens, such as making reservations, ordering food delivery, finding parking spots, and more.
