ShopStyle Mobile has launched a new version of its iPhone/iPad app. The free app incorporates new features including Sales Alerts, which tell you when individual items or your favourite brands go on sale from over 2,000 fashion, home and beauty brands, including Debenhams, Oasis, Dorothy Perkins, Marks and Spencer, Liberty, My Wardrobe and John Lewis.
The upgraded app also includes a new Product Zoom feature, allowing users to examine any garment or style item in detail, and Synching Favourites which synchs your favourites on mobile with your web account. This means that you can find items on the go, and buy them later when you get home. Or find something on the computer, synch it with mobile and take the item to the store to buy. The ShopStyle website has also been optimized for those accessing from a browser on an Android or iPhone.
The app also allows users to browse, search, filter by price, filter by discounted items, and of course, buy. Users can also save their favourite products with one click and view them all from the Favourites screen. Favbourites can also be shared via email or Twitter. The app is also available in French and German versions, including goods from European retailers.
ShopStyle launched its first mobile app in 2009, recreating its online shopping environment to style-conscious shoppers on the move. Today four per cent of all clickthroughs to the ShopStyle website come from mobile devices. The fashion shopping site expects this to double after Christmas as new iPhone and iPad users begin to log on.
