Signbox Takes its Enlighten NFC Smart Posters Outdoors

Signbox has unveiled a weatherproof, outdoor version of its Enlighten NFC-enabled range of smart posters. The outdoor version is available in different sizes and can also be incorporated into a purpose-built monolith.
“In the next few years, people will use their phones in a different way, with paying for goods and retrieving information or offers from smart posters becoming an everyday occurrence,” says Mark Bartlett, managing director of Signbox. “Enlighten is at the forefront of these developments and will deliver enhanced customer engagement through new proximity marketing and will change the way people interact with the brands and marketing messages that surround them.” 
To ensure secure transfer of information between smartphones and posters, Signbox has also taken the opportunity to introduce enhanced fraud prevention technology into each poster, designed to prevent tag diversion.
