Sing When Youre Winning

Ringtones company Revoice Singtones  says it remains bullish as the ringtone industry panics over Apples recent announcement of the iTunes Ringtone Maker that lets iTunes users splice any section of a song to use as a mobile ringtone. The $0.99 charge for the service massively undercuts the 3 cost of most UK-based ringtones, the company points out, saying that it is expected to hit the UKs lucrative ringtone industry hard. Revoice Singtones says it has safeguarded its own future by offering personalised ringtones that even Apple cant compete with.
Singtones enable consumers to record versions of their favourite tracks, which are then fixed so they sound in-tune and in-time. The final version, complete with backing track, can be sent to friends mobile phones or to the users own phone, to use a unique personalised ringtone and caller ID. Singtones can be recorded via a mobile,  landline or through an Internet browser. They are free to create and cost 1.50 to deliver to mobile phones. Revoice Singtones is owned by Synchro Arts, a leading provider of audio alignment technology for the music and film industries.
Traditional ringtone providers market mobile personalisation, effectively digital jewellery, says Singtones boss Jeff Bloom. Now Apple is offering a cheaper, easier and better system to personalise mobiles, those 3 Crazy Frog ringtones look increasingly bad value. The future lies in mobile customisation. Apple cant compete with Singtones, because everything we deliver is totally unique. More importantly, people love hearing their friends or family sing to them when they call.
