Sir Trevor McDonald hosts ‘The Big Nationwide Thank You’ campaign

Nationwide has launched a new campaign featuring broadcaster Sir Trevor McDonald.
The ad, titled ‘The Big Nationwide Thank You’, showcases Sir McDonald announcing that the building society will reward its customers with a £50 share from a £600 million pool.
The ad was created by creative PR agency The Romans and directed by Mak Mahmut Akay.
Richard Warren, director of brand, marketing, and corporate affairs at Nationwide, said: “Nationwide would be nothing without its members and we wanted to do something that gave back to them in a way that truly shows our appreciation.
“‘The Big Nationwide Thank You’, starring the one and only Sir Trevor and supported by many of our esteemed colleagues across the country, does just that.
“We hope this new film, created and executed by The Romans, shows just how grateful we are for our members’ unwavering support, ultimately enabling us to purchase Virgin Money and continue to grow the benefits of being part of a mutual,” he added.
