Siren launches Integrate platform with Sky One

Digital engagement agency Siren  has announced the launch of Integrate, which is desribes as “a powerful voting and competition management platform” which aggregates votes and competition entries cast across multiple entry channels, including SMS, IVR and red button, and presents broadcasters with a detailed breakdown of the results in real time via an intuitive, user-friendly interface.
Broadcasters and production companies have traditionally needed to close voting lines early to enable enough time to manually reconcile votes cast across these various platforms, or to allow for delays in receiving all vote data. Because the Integrate platform keeps broadcasters constantly connected with real-time aggregated voting totals, says Siren, it eliminates the need to close lines early, enabling broadcasters to generate increased revenue.
Integrate is equally effective at processing competition entries, allowing broadcasters to be assured that their competitions are managed in a fully transparent and legally compliant manner.
Sky is the first broadcaster to embrace the platform, and has already used Integrate to streamline the voting process of its Sky One programmes Cirque de Celebrite and The Match, with more programmes scheduled for the coming months.
The producers of live programmes are under incredible pressure, and any delay in calculating the final tally of voting events can create major scheduling headaches says Siren CEO Chris Pressley. Because weve been working in the participation TV space since its inception, weve been able to create a platform that not only takes away this pain, but also manages the entire voting or competition process in a robust and compliant fashion.
For Sky One, Head of Networked Media, Aidan Conway, adds:
The use of multiple channels for voting and competition entries provides our viewers with a broad range of ways that they can interact and engage with our programmes. Sirens Integrate platform makes the whole process a lot easier, as our producers can clearly see whats happening on the votes at any time during the broadcast and can react to this information accordingly.
