Sizmek has unveiled two enhancements for its StrikeAd mobile-first programmatic media platform.

Ad buyers can now access hyperlocal and contextual, page-level video ad targeting capabilities on the platform to target audiences both by physical location and relevance. The contextual targeting is enabled through StrikeAd’s recent integration with Peer39, which grants access to its proprietary page and app-level intelligence to enable media buyers to deliver brand-safe, strategically impactful placements.

StrikeAd’s platform offers access to mobile web and in-app inventory via both RTB (Real-time Bidding) and Private Marketplace deals.

StrikeAd has also announced a partnership with Dailymotion Exchange (DMX), the private video exchange of Dailymotion, which sees more than 3.5bn videos views per month. The move means StrikeAd’s clients can access the premium instream video inventory on Dailymotion Exchange.

“Since video is the primary driver of mobile content consumption among consumers worldwide, it’s important that we’re able to offer our clients premium video inventory from leading providers like DMX,” said Alex Rahaman, VP programmatic at StrikeAd. “It’s also important that we empower our ad buyers with mobile-first tools such as location and context to identify and target audiences on the go, enabling them to maximise the impact of their video spend alongside display, and to provide them with the choice of a managed or SaaS offering. Together, these additions to the StrikeAd DSP provide the best-in-class inventory, targeting and execution so brands can continue to effectively connect with quality audiences in creative and meaningful ways.”
