Sliide Airtime Exchanges Data for Branded Content in Nigeria

Sliide Airtime Lock Screen and ProfileSliide Airtime, Africas first lock screen content delivery platform, is preparing to expand from its initial launch market of Nigeria to the wider African market, having announced investment from African private investment vehicle Singularity Investments.

Launched in March this year, Sliide Airtimes Android app delivers personalised news and branded content to the lock screen of users mobile devices, earning consumers free airtime in the process while enabling network operators to benefit from shared ad revenues and increased user engagement.

Sliide has partnered with a variety of organisations to deliver branded content, including Google, Facebook and Twinpine, Africas largest mobile ad network. The company will use the investment by Singularity to expand its operations in Nigeria and prepare for planned expansions into South Africa, Ghana and Kenya.
