Smartwatch Shipments Grow 400 Per Cent in 2014

Smartwatch shipments have grown 400 per cent year-on-year, based on figures for Q2 of 2014, a report has shown.
The figures come from Strategy Analytics Global Smartwatch OS Marketshare report, which cites Samsungs Tizen OS as a driver for the immense growth the market has seen. 
With strong rumours of an Apple smartwatch launch before the end of the year, 2014 could well be the year when the smartwatch truly catches the publics imagination.
