Snapchat to Launch Ads with Discovery This November, Reports WSJ

Snapchat is reportedly is in talks with brand and media companies to launch Discovery, a platform for serving a wider variety of content to users.
According to the The Wall Street Journal, Discovery will use the same tap-and-hold interaction that the app already uses to reveal photos or videos, but would be extended to include branded content including articles and more long-form videos.
Snapchat is planning to launch Discovery in November, the first time the platform has monetised its 30m-strong userbase, as the company starts to earn its reported $10bn valuation.
