App agency Somo has created an app for Audi UK for this years Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Audi Goodwood app is available for iPhone and Android for the motorsport event, which takes place from 30 June – 3 July.
The app follows Audi UKs Guide to le Mans 2011 app, which exceeded expectations in terms of downloads four times over, says Somo. The Goodwood app uses Augmented Reality to guide users to the parts of the event they are most interested in.
The app also features detailed information about the Audi presence at the event, including 360-degree views of the motors on show, and specs of the full range. Theres also a section on the history of Goodwood and a weather forecast feature. Users can share their experiences at the event on Facebook and Twitter via the app, too.
