Sony Ericsson has announced a time-limited exclusivity deal with EA Mobile to deliver FIFA 12 on Android.
The biggest games franchise on earth will be available for the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY exclusively (at least in terms of the Android platform) until February 21, 2012. The game will launch in time for the holiday season, according to Sony Ericsson.
“FIFA 12 will undoubtedly be one of this years most popular games and Xperia PLAY consumers will be able to master it before any other Android users,” says Dominic Neil-Dwyer, head of market development for Sony Ericsson. “Adding to a portfolio of quality games for Xperia PLAY, FIFA 12 adapts perfectly to the device and delivers the best football experience on Android.” 
FIFA 12 promises improved gameplay depth, with authentic commentary, updated teams, and a new replay system. Sony Ericsson says the Xperia PLAYs dedicated graphical processing unit, optimised memory bandwidth and 60fps rendering will make it the optimum phone on which to run the game.
