Spareroom.co.uk, the flat and house share website, has launched a mobile payment facility for people who want to access the website on their mobile phones. Using ImpulsePay’s mobile purchasing solution, mobile users can pay for access to ‘Early Bird’ ads on Spareroom.co.uk and get a head start on finding their next room.
ImpulsePay’s implementation of Payforit means that users can pay for access to the ads with just one click. The cost, which is taken directly from the user’s mobile phone bill or available credit, is £3 for 24 hours’ access, or £10 for 10 days’ access.
“Thousands of users already choose to access Spareroom via their phones; now they can also receive the most up-to-date ads, by purchasing Early Bird access on their mobiles,” says Spareoom MD and founder, Rupert Hunt. “The ImpulsePay solution is a very simple and clear way for our users to pay, and as it utilises Payforit, we know that anyone in the UK can use it.”
Spareroom.co.uk has more than 60 per cent of the UK’s specialist flatshare market and is free to both list a flat and to search, although paid for services such as Early Bird and bold listings are also provided.
