Mobile software provider SPB Software has opened an office in Taipei to further support its original design and equipment manufacturers’ (OEMs) and (ODMs) business in Taiwan. After having local representation for two years, SPB says the new office, in Taipei’s IT district of Neihu, will help to provide increased support for its growing customer base.
“Along with the correct skill sets, local knowledge and a passion for the area are essential to help a company maintain its competitive advantage,” says SPB SEO, Sebastian-Justus Schmidt. “By strengthening our local presence, we’ll be able to serve our OEM and ODM customers more quickly and efficiently.” 
SPB’s increased presence in Asia coincides with the launch of SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 for Symbian later this month.
