Sponge Drives Anchor Promotion

Marketing agency Carlson has launched a summer promotion for Anchor butter, powered by mobile agency Sponge.  The Free the Sunshine promotion appears on 17 million Anchor packs in retailers nationwide. Consumers can text or email a promotional code found on-pack to be automatically entered into a daily prize draw, where they have the chance to win daily prizes including parasols and travel vouchers.  All entries received before the promotion ends on 14 October will also be entered into a grand prize draw to win a holiday home in the sun.
Sponge has worked closely with Carlson to support the promotion by harnessing its text to win application and promotional platform. Although Carlson is managing the selection of winners, Sponge has provided its expertise in on-pack prize draws.
Last year, Sponge was behind a hugely successful text & win campaign for Walkers Crisps, which attracted 17 million entries, from 7% of the UK population.
