Mobile marketing solutions provider Sponge has appointed Jon Beverley as Business Development Director.
Beverley will work alongside Sponges Business Development Manager David Alexander. He brings 14 years experience in digital media to Sponge, 10 of which have been spent in the mobile sector.
Beverley recently returned from New Zealand, where he helped build two successful businesses in mobile marketing and mobile banking. Prior to this, he was Co-founder and CEO of Scan Mobile, where he developed and secured mobile solutions for clients such as Home Retail Group (Argos), Orange, Vodafone and several retail banks, including HSBC. Before that, Beverley built, ran and subsequently sold his own new media consultancy.
Jon joins Sponge to help deliver on our expansion plans for 2008 and beyond, says Sponge Client Services Director, Douglas McDonald. His deep knowledge of the mobile and interactive sectors will go a long way towards helping our clients achieve the kind of results that are possible when using mobile as a central part of their marketing and business processes.
