Spotify launches Glastonbury partnership bring personalised discovery to festival app

Spotify has launched a new partnership with Glastonbury allowing festivalgoers to link their Spotify account to Vodafone’s Official Glastonbury App, receiving personalised recommendations on who to check out at the festival based on their listening habits.

By connecting to Spotify, festivalgoers will see their Top 10 artists from the line-up and additional recommendations via the Discover More option.

Attendees will also have the option to explore artist pages on the Glastonbury app to listen to their most popular songs and enjoy them on the streaming platform.

Spotify Vice President of Global Marketing and Partnerships, Marc Hazan, said: “Spotify reflects and celebrates music culture so this partnership with Glastonbury is the perfect fit. We want to forge deeper connections between artists and fans, and what better way to do that than by teaming up with the world’s greatest music festival.

“The integration with Vodafone’s official Glastonbury app combines Spotify’s hugely popular personalisation and discovery tools so that users can really elevate their Glastonbury experience to a new level.”

Glastonbury Organiser, Emily Eavis, continued: “It’s great to launch this integration with Spotify to help Festival-goers discover artists playing this year. There are so many amazing acts on the line-up and we’re really happy that the app will now help guide people towards the ones they’ll love.”

Alongside the app, Spotify also launched a Glastonbury 2024 Hub, which allows users to browse around 30 individual stage line-ups in the Hub and check out every artist playing on each across the whole weekend.
