Numbrs, an interbank personal finance app, has raised $7.7m (£5.1m) from the company builder Centralway.
The mobile-first start-up, a product of the Swiss company builder, is launching on iOS and Android, followed by a tablet app and then finally on desktop.
The app brings together all of your bank accounts and functions – including transactions – under one roof. Its killer quality is that it not only tells you how much youve spent, but its Future Timeline algorithm helps you manage your budget and plan for the future by analysing your transaction history.
The company has three founders and is being led by CEO Julien Arnold, an entrepreneur in residence at Centralway. The app is already in a closed public beta in Germany and Arnold is working hard on bringing the product to the UK, followed by Singapore and Hong Kong.
We asked him a bit more about his company, his plans for making money and life in a start-up. You can listen to the interview below, or download it as a podcast here.
