Stagedoor launches digital loyalty card, 100 shows signed up

Theatre discovery and  ticketing app Stagedoor has a digital loyalty card, designed to reward frequent and passionate theatregoers by allowing them to collect virtual stamps that add up to rewards each time they book tickets on the Stagedoor app, across multiple shows and venues.

Currently, more than 100 shows are part of the scheme, with more joining over the coming months. Stagedoor said this is the first digital, city-wide loyalty card of its kind, encouraging people to experiment and book tickets to theatres they’ve never been to before, and offering substantial savings.

Theatregoers can earn unlimited rewards, from 10% discounts up to savings as high as £70 off their bookings. Stagedoor estimates that a frequent theatregoer, who attends a few times a month, could earn rewards totalling more than £300 each year.

Stagedoors loyalty card is free for all current and new users of the app. To activate it, simply tap the ‘Saved’ tab in the app, and then tap the large button that says ‘Unlock your Stagedoor card’.  Each booking completed on the app earns a virtual stamp that counts towards the user’s Stagedoor loyalty card. Once a user qualifies for a reward, it is auto-applied at checkout. To kick things off, Stagedoor is offering £10 off users’ first booking.

“Stagedoor has always been about bringing people closer to theatre, and this is another big step in that direction,” said Stagedoor Founder, Michael Hadjijoseph. “Theatregoing is a habit, one that some people have lost during the pandemic. Stagedoor’s new Loyalty Card is our answer to the question of how to bring people back to the theatre.”
