Steely Eye has announced that its Multichannel Platform is now available for licensing. The platform integrates with existing website content management workflows but, the company says, enables optimized user experiences for each channel – e.g., mobile, Tablet, social, and connected TV – increasing conversion rates for online stores and readership for content-driven sites.
Rather than merely adding a mobile view, the company says the platform makes a brand’s digital content truly futureproof, supporting an infinite variety of new channels, from mobile and Tablet sites, to Facebook and mobile apps and connected televisions.
“Screen-scraping, or transcoding, solutions that strip apart perfectly good websites only to reconstruct them for mobile, are made obsolete by our Multichannel Platform,” says Steely Eye technology director, Tim Ocock. “We work with our clients to properly separate content and presentation, and our plugin framework allows legacy sites to be made multichannel capable within days.”
The Steely Eye Multichannel platform is already in use in the hospitality, health insurance, eCommerce and newspaper publishing sectors, and is available now for integration with existing systems, or as a standalone CMS solution.
