Stephen Kings It gets the VR treatment ahead of movies release

It Georgie trailerThe big screen adaption of Stephen King’s horror novel It is due to be released on 8 September so, to prepare you for being terrified, Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema have decided to create a VR experience, with the help of SunnyBoy Entertainment, for fans to walk the streets of Derry, Maine – the location of the film’s horrifying events.

It: Float – A Cinematic Experience gives fans the chance to take a trip through the sewer home of Pennywise the Dancing Clown – that Georgie Denbrough, and many others, have been dragged through by the demonic monster.

It is with Georgie that the VR experience starts off – putting the viewer in his shoes the moment before he is dragged into the sewers. The experience then takes fans into the dark, terrifying sewers to have a look at the creature’s lair. Here, fans encounter many red balloons and even get to meet the titular It, as the creature awaits the viewer’s arrival. And remember: “Youll float too”.
