Vodafone has officially announced the launch of the BlackBerry Storm in Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand from next month. In the US, the Storm will be available exclusively from Verizon Wireless.
The Storm is the result of a long-term strategic alliance between Vodafone and RIM. It includes a 3.2 Megapixel camera, web browser and 3.25in. touchscreen, with a choice of QWERTY, SureType or multi-tap virtual keyboards. The 480 x 360 pixel screen switches from portrait to landscape mode as the handset is rotated.
Storm users can access all of Vodafones entertainment and information services, including Vodafone Music, Google Maps and Find&Go navigation, and the Vodafone live! Portal.
