Mobile advertising company StrikeAd has appointed Tim Finn as head of EMEA. Finn was previously a member of the founding team at contextual advertising network Vibrant Media.
Alex Rahaman, CEO of StrikeAd, says: “Tim brings an important skillset to the company. The inventory volumes and quality integrated into our Demand Side Platform is far in advance of its peers and Tims background in managing supply relationships and partnerships ensures we will stay ahead of our competitors.”
Finn will be responsible for driving StrikeAds digital presence across Western Europe, particularly in France and Germany, and into Asia.
The appointment comes as part of the companys continued international expansion. StrikeAd will shortly be opening a new office in Germany to support its European growth. In 2011, it opened offices in New York, and has recently announced a move into the Japanese market in conjunction with mediba.
StrikeAds planned global expansion will be aided by a £2mi second round finance deal it has just secured with venture capitalists DFJ Esprit.
