String Launches AR SDK for iOS

AR company String has launched its SDK for iOS development. Making the announcement at the AR Summit today in London, the company also demonstrated two new augmented reality applications. 

The company also announced that it would be providing a service to manage and develop AR experiences, offering consultancy and end-to-end solutions for companies looking to use AR in their iOS apps. 

The Powered By String SDK is available from £79 for a Developer License. There is a free demo to try out, too. 

The company demonstrated its AR technology in action with a 3D real-life motion capture AR app which was developed in partnership with Brighton based Digicave. Another demo showed a live two-way broadcast using AR capabilities and the Kinect gaming platform – this was developed in partnership with Norwegian company Labrat.
