Subex, which provides Operations Support Systems (OSS) solutions for communications service companies, has been appointed by Fintur Group, a mobile operator consortium located across Eastern Europe and Central Asia, to deliver fraud management solutions across all its group companies. The project is being integrated by Gantek Technologies, which will act as the turnkey solution provider for the deployment. Subex and Gantek have been partnering together in several projects especially in the Revenue Management domain.
The deployments will begin with Moldcell (Moldova), Geocell (Georgia), Azercell (Azerbaijan) and Kcell (Kazakhstan). Subex says it was selected to deploy its Nikira Fraud Management system, a key component of the strategic Revenue Operations Center (ROC), across the four operators, after a thorough evaluation process, with a further three to follow during the course of the coming months.
