Swantee Takes the Helm at Everything Everywhere as Alexander Steps Down

Its been a busy day for HR departments in the industry, with new appointments at Everything Everywhere (partent compant to Orange and T-Mobile), mobile advertising firm, Amobee, and mCommerce platform provider, Digby.

Everything Everywhere has apointed Olaf Swantee has its CEO. The current France Telecom executive VP for operations in Europe (except France) and sourcing, Swantee will start his new job on 1 September. He takes over from Tom Alexander, who is stepping down for personal reasons.  

“Its been my privilege to serve Everything Everywhere these past 12 months, and Orange before that,” says Alexander. “I am delighted to welcome Olaf into his new role. Olaf will be an excellent CEO and leader for Everything Everywhere moving forward. Id like to thank my team and all the staff at Everything Everywhere for their great work and support, and to wish them all continuing success in the future.”

Swantee says: “Id like to pay tribute to Toms leadership, and I am looking forward to building on the successes that Everything Everywhere has already accomplished, and to taking on the challenge of moving the company even further ahead in the coming months and years.”

Elsewhere in the industry, mobile ad network Amobee has announced that Trevor Healy will be its new CEO. Healy, the former chief innovation officer and board member of Telefónica Europe, will remain a member of Amobees board of directors and will continue to work in an advisory capacity with Telefónica worldwide.

Previously, Healy was CEO of telecoms company JAHAH, and has also held executive roles at PayPal, VeriSign, CelNX, and Trintech. The company founder, Zohar Levkovitz will remain with Amobee as founder and vice chairman.

Over at Digby, Keno Helmi has taken up the post of chief sales officer, with responsibility for worldwide field operations.

Helmi has held senior leadership positions at companies including Clarify, Amdocs, and Opsware. Most recently, he ran the Global Accounts Organization at HP Software, with a revenue responsibility of $500m, managing a team of over 120 sales professionals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a minor in English, and a Master of Science in economics from Auburn University.
