Symbian Signed Certification for Emoze

Mobile email company Emoze has revealed that it has earned Symbian Signed certification, the industry-adopted testing program to certify that Symbian OS third party mobile phone applications meet industry standards.
Symbian Signed builds user trust in mobile applications and assists the mobile industry in delivering high quality applications. Emoze  provides a simple free download that enables consumer and enterprise mobile users to securely send and receive push emails and other data in real time anytime, anywhere.
As a Symbian Signed certified application, Emoze has been independently tested to adhere to comprehensive, industry-agreed quality guidelines. Symbian Signed was introduced in response to demand from the mobile industry for a certification program to promote best practice in application design for Symbian OS phones, and to establish a formal link between an application and its origin. Numerous operators and Symbian OS phone manufacturers, including Sony Ericsson and Nokia, support the program.
Achieving Symbian Signed certification an industry gold standard is a significant step for Emoze, says Emoze CEO, Benny Ballin. Having our software verified to be of a benchmarked industry quality provides mobile users with further evidence of the value of Emozes mobile push email solution. Symbian Signed gives us an even stronger platform to enable more mobile users across the world to make the most of their devices by keeping them connected with their email and personal information data, no matter where they are.
Emoze is making mobile email accessible to tens of millions of mobile devices across the world, through a simple download from the Emoze website. All thats needed is a compatible phone and a data package from a mobile operator.
Emoze is compatible with all leading brands of mobile device, including
Motorola, Nokia, Palm and Samsung. It supports all popular email data
sources, including Lotus Notes and Domino Servers, Microsoft Exchange,
Outlook and OWA (Outlook Web-Access), POP3, Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo!,
and all popular mobile device operating systems including Symbian and
Windows Mobile.
Emoze claims a significant advantage over other solutions, in that synchronisation occurs only on incoming and outgoing events, rather than via periodical connections to the email server. This not only saves the user connectivity-related costs but also delivers increased efficiency in device power consumption, memory use and CPU.
All messages are encrypted behind the firewall (either a home or corporate network), and can be decrypted only when they reach the right mobile device or PC. Encryption keys are stored in the users mobile device and PC. With Emoze, emails, calendars, tasks and contacts are only stored on a users email server and mobile device.
Emoze has also added multiple languages to its mobile push email platform. The Emoze download and interface is now available in English, German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic.
