T-Mobile Adds Karaoke to Night In Promo

T-Mobile has partnered with “premium karaoke brand” Lucky Voice for its latest ‘Night In’ promotion. The offer expands T-Mobile’s loyalty scheme, which is designed to encourage customers to get together and share nights in with friends and family.

The partnership will offer T-Mobile customers their first Lucky Voice 24 hour sing-a-long for free, after which each singing session will cost £1.99 for 24 hours, half the normal price. They can then transform their PC into a karaoke machine as many times as they like between 16 November and the 31 January 2010. To take advantage of the offer, T-Mobile customers need to text ‘LUCKY’ to 3000. The offer is available Monday to Sunday, with no limit on how many redemptions can be made in a week.

T-Mobile is also expanding its 5 for £5 offer with Blockbuster, with the launch of a Facebook and mobile app. The app works on iPhone, Android, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sanyo and Sony Ericsson smartphones. The Facebook app, developed by Gyro, will enable users to write their own film and games reviews, share them with other film fans and get information on the latest releases.

The mobile app, created by Grapple Mobile, which is available on smart phones, features a Blockbuster storefinder, and also offers the ability to scan in film barcodes to access online reviews, as well as a click voucher request function, making it easier to order the films you want. To take advantage of the Blockbuster offer, T-Mobile customers need to text ‘NIGHT IN’ to 3000. The Blockbuster offer runs from Monday to Thursday, and covers movies and games.

The Night In promotion has seen over 220,000 customer redemptions since April this year, with movie lovers getting through 160,000 bags of popcorn and drinking 320,000 litres of Coke in that time, according to T-Mobile’s stats.
