Tapingo has brought its app to the University of Arizona, enabling its 40,000 students to order meals at the campus student union and nearby restaurants using their mobile.
Tapingo users can search for nearby participating restaurants; place their order, customising items as necessary; then pay using a credit, debit or student cash card or PayPal, and collect the food or have it delivered.
Tapingo recently launched at Northern Arizona University, where it is processing more than 1,000 orders daily, with approximately one per cent of NAU’s student base signing up to the service each day.
Tapingo has been rolling out initially to university campuses across the US, with the eventual aim of taking its service nationwide.
