tappxTappx has announced that over 2,000 app developers from over 115 countries have joined and participated in its open ad-sharing economy since its launch in February, making it the worlds largest open cross-promotion app community.

Created by and for developers, the Tappx community is based on a collaborative sharing economy, with members hosting ads on each others apps, with no cost to members and all tools provided for free, including automatic banner templates and campaign tracking solutions.

Among the major partners who have joined Tappx are Softonic, Telefonica, Danone, Crema Games and MyMobileSecurity.

“The biggest problem that developers face is how to economically promote their apps and build their market,” said Daniel Reina, CEO of Tappx. “By cutting out the advertising middleman, Tappx delivers results without breaking the bank.

“By removing the app discovery price barrier, we are making it easier for developers to focus their time and budget on creating great mobile content. In under a year, we have experienced exponential growth and reached over 2m unique users, proof that cross-promotion and collaboration is an effective and efficient way to generate downloads.”
