Target has launched an in-store campaign, Bullseyes Playground, in time for the Christmas shopping rush.
The campaign, developed with Googles Art, Copy & Code advertising initiative, consists of a a set of seasonal mobile games, including a snowball fight and ice skating challenges.
Once a user completes a level, theyre encouraged to visit a Target store in order to unlock new content. In-store posters display codes which can be entered into the app for new levels or characters.
Four selected stores will also feature Project Tango development tablets, preloaded with a virtual winter playground experience. This uses Googles Project Tango spatial detection technology to recreate the shape of the store in a rich 3D app.
For every game played, Target has pledged to donate $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, up to a maximum of $1m.
