Ted Baker Goes Responsive After Mobile Traffic Overtakes Desktop

Fashion brand Ted Baker has launched a responsively-designed mobile site, after seeing mobile traffic overtake desktop.

The site, developed by digital agency Poke together with solution provider neoworks, is built around a series of templates meaning the site can be adapted for each fashion season and region.

Ted Baker previously had a mobile site in the UK, but the new site also covers the European and international markets, with US and Australian launches coming next year. This global approach helped informed the brands choice of responsive design over a separate optimised site.

“The growth for mobile devices is not the same for all international markets, so it is important to ensure we have a consistently user-friendly experience across all channels,” Eve Henrikson, head of eCommerce at Ted Baker, told Mobile Marketing.
