Teespring, a social commerce platform, has offered its full suite of services to small businesses, in an effort to help those stores who have been financially impacted by the Coronavirus. Teespring was originally launched to provide influencers a way to create and sell their custom merchandise, but in the wake of COVID-19, has launched the #LoveYourLocal campaign to aid small businesses struggling to stay afloat.
Small businesses are able to use Teespring to design items such as t-shirts, hats, bags, stickers, hoodies and more. Once those designs are finalized, businesses may use the Teespring website to sell their products. As part of the #LoveYourLocal initiative, Teespring is giving 100 per cent of those profits back to the small businesses (bars, restaurants, hotels and other impacted by social distancing).
The #TeamKentucky fund, which is being used to help fight the spread of COVID-19 in Kentucky, has teamed up with Teespring to sell products. The partnership between Teespring and Beshear Gear has already raised more than $53,000 for #TeamKentucky, with an additional donation of $5,000 coming from Teespring.
