Hungarian telco Telenor Hungary has selected Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) to automate its mobile device settings. The operator is implementing NSN’s Serve atOnce Device Manager (SADM) to improve the customer experience, while at the same time, reducing customer care costs. The software works by automatically recognizing any mobile device and optimizing it for Telenor’s network.
“Today customers demand new applications and services, but without the hassle of setting them up individually,” recognises György Koller, chief technical officer at Telenor Hungary. “Automated device management via Nokia Siemens Networks’ Serve atOnce Device Manager ensures our customers get the most out of their handset, making them happier and increasing the potential number of services they can use.”
NSN will install, integrate and support the SADM software as part of the agreement.
