Tesco has revealed itself as launch partner for the Rainmaking Loft for tech entrepreneurs which recently opened next to Tower Bridge. The not-for-profit facility is designed to support 170 tech entrepreneurs who need desk space, business support or collaborators.
In return for a financial contribution to set up the infrastructure, Tesco will “get to draw on the collective creativity of the entrepreneurs and technologists there from time to time,” said Robin Terrell, group multi-channel director at Tesco.
The idea for the space came from serial entrepreneur Carsten Kolbeck, investor in, among many things, the global accelerator Startup Bootcamp.
