The Lanesborough hotel in London has introduced in-room tablets for guests from Crave Interactive as part of a 19-month refurbishment project.
Crave’s remotely operated, cloud-based tablet solutions allow for instant in-room food and drinks ordering; check-in and check-out; communication with guests; instantly updateable digital directories and menus; and limitless scope for additional sales and tailored in-room advertising.
For The Lanesborough, meanwhile, additional features have been added, including a call function for the personal butler service, as well as wireless keyboards, bluetooth speakers and printing capabilities.
“We aim to provide our guests with the latest innovations and state-of-the-art technology and selected Crave Interactive as we believe they offer the best solution available to provide a world-class and personalised in-room tablet,” said Lanesborough MD, Geoffrey Gelardi.
Crave recently launched its own custom-made tablets, the first in the world designed specifically for use in hotel rooms.
