The Light Agency Rebrands as Mobilize Systems

The Light Agency, the company that developed and operates the mobile savings club, SHOP SCAN SAVE and which owns the underlying technical platform, M BAR GO, has changed its name to Mobilize Systems.
The companys Managing Director, Stefan Magnusson, says it was a difficult decision, as the previous name had significant recognition internationally, and since its 12 industry awards were all received under the old name.
However, says Magnusson, as we repositioned ourselves in the market to become a provider of mobile CRM platforms, rather than being a mobile marketing agency, it soon transpired that we needed a new label. In changing name, we also wanted to take the opportunity to redefine ourselves and let both the name and the brand permeate our offering. I think we have achieved that and we are all really pleased with the outcome.
SHOP SCAN SAVE enables over 47,000 people who have joined the programme to receive discounts on household name products in more than 20,000 convenience stores in the UK. As the redemptions are tracked through the point of sale, the mechanism has received great attention from retailers and brands alike and Mobilize is currently running a number of smaller programmes on behalf of brand owners.
SHOP SCAN SAVE is powered by the M BAR GO technical platform, and recently, cash payout, voting and survey capabilities have been added to the platform. The company's range of products will now be known as Mobilize Loyalty, Mobilize Cash, Mobilize Gift Giver and Mobilize Pre-Pay, under the new Mobilize brand umbrella.
