The Week in Mobile Marketing

shutterstock_100245266We began the week in an mCommerce frenzy, as the post-Thanksgiving shopping weekend drew to a close. You can find our roundup of the best stories here, while IBM announced that Cyber Monday was the biggest day ever for online shopping, but Black Friday actually came out ahead on mobile.

And in that spirit, weve spent the week focusing on Christmas shopping. Kirsty Styles compared retail apps from Etsy and Fab, while David Murphy went Googling to find out which retailers came out on top in desktop and mobile search.

Of course, its hard to talk about the Christmas shopping period without mentioning the ever-present TV ad campaigns. I asked Tescos Mark Cody where mobile fits into the retailers festive marketing strategy, and Kirsty tried out Sensums neuromarketing technology to see what effect the ads had on her.
